Meet Madhavi Parikh

Living with cancer involves much more than simply understanding the medical issues related to the disease. All aspects of one’s life change drastically and should be addressed.

My mission is simple: To empower patients and their caregivers with the knowledge and support necessary to not just survive, but to thrive through the challenges of a diagnosis of cancer, its treatments, and beyond.

As a clinical cancer coach, I strive to empower you and your caregivers to make informed decisions and offer ways to integrate the personal and interpersonal while navigating cancer.

I aim to offer compassionate and comprehensive cancer support in a way that nurtures true connection with kind attention towards the self as well as your loved ones.

Meet John 'JR' Rennie

As the founder of a 37+ year business software company, I thought I was going to ride off into the sunset and retire.  All that changed in 2015 when God decided to redirect me to my True Purpose.  Promptings, new understandings and inspired guidance brought me to founding the BrushFires Ministry.   A ministry that helps other Believers discover their God Given Purpose and Destiny, just like God had led me to mine.

The BrushFires Ministry has created a system and toolset that allows believers to discover their strengths and weaknesses.  Once they have done this for themselves, then they can discover this for their family, friends and other ministry members.  There is nothing worse than feeling you are being misunderstood, overlooked and spinning your wheels as a Believer.  I should know.  Our system and services can help the believer to find their jam and achieve that joy filled state of mind that only The Lord can provide.

In 2024 the BrushFires program is expanding with the following new services;

  1. BrushFires Digital WorkShop - an online video series to lead individuals, couples, small groups, churches and orgranizations through our WorkShop materials.
  2. The Design Coaching / Graduate Training programs - through three new workbooks (Mentoring Manual, Graduate Workbook and the Instructor's Manual) we delve into deeper design insight, counseling tools, group dynamics and Church Body Building techniques.  This is also facilitated through Zoom conference training for the leaders.
  3. Church Leadership Traing programs - using the Graduate Training materials, we coach church leaders to implement the BrushFires curriculumn and to facilitate the BrushFires program inhouse.  This is also facilitated through Zoom conference training for the leaders.
  4. The ReKindle coaching program - Follow up with Design Discovery Meeting graduates to help them to pursue their purpose.
  5. Ignite Ministry Coaching - a facilitated Motivated Role exercise to help ministries brainstorm to new solutions, new ministries and new endeavors.

Meet Jessica Erlendson

We don't have to emphasize the peri/menopause journey but there is a lot of selective hearting - spouses and family that don't believe it's "that bad", friends that don't want to hear about it, and even doctors who don't hear the seriousness of the body condition during this transition.  We can also touch on how trauma has been found in recent studies to affect our menopause transition and I suspect a lot of that is because we can be shut down so easily - if we do get the courage to talk about what we are going through and don't feel heard, many of us with a traumatic childhood may just shut down.  I think this could be why so many women allow their body condition to deteriorate into anemia, "zombie" like degrees of tiredness, weight problems, you name it.  Many of us wait until we really can't live like this anymore before we insist on being heard.

here is my freebie - the comprehensive symptoms list for perimenopause

In her coaching practice, Debbie is a guide for values-focused humans ready to disrupt their personal norms. She empowers clients to reconnect with their inner rebel and start challenge all of their "shoulds" and "have-tos," enabling them to start building (and living) a life that has them jumping out of bed every day. Beyond her biz, Debbie is a proud mom to two grown children and two rescued fur-babies. Nature, travel, and live music are her happy places, especially when they come together. Meet Christina Wong

I am an imperfect person who is on this journey of life, just like anyone reading this.

It is only after beginning an intentional exploration of myself that I started to not only learn what my values are, but to build the strength and courage to start to live by them. Since this has meant questioning where many of my older beliefs came from, and realizing that many of them came from the culture we've created and from generations past, it has definitely not been smooth or easy...and I definitely haven't done it perfectly. But it has been so fulfilling and life-changing.

The journey never ends so long as I live and breathe, and the work never stops...but my skill set to deal with it all will continue to grow, and I have no doubt, will continue to bring beautiful moments into my world.
